The interactive visualisation above reveals the extensive network of actors involved in the creation of the Raphael Collection, both within and beyond Prince Albert's lifetime. In particular, it indicates the extent to which the gathering of this collection was mediated through his immediate advisors and staff. The network centres around a few key figures whose correspondence provided the backbone for the creation of the collection.
